​This week on Apotecari Uncut, Sofia and Elisa from Apotecari HQ, shared their favourite Hair Food recipes of the season. Whether you are busy and need a quick nutritious snack on-the-go, or are after some festive entertaining inspiration, these recipes will do nothing less than delight your tastebuds and feed your hair health. Suitable for all ages, our Hair Food recipes can be happily enjoyed by the whole family.



HAIR FOOD YOGHURT

Ingredients:
1 cup/desired amount Coconut yoghurt
1 serving Apotecari Hair Food
Desired toppings – opt for toppings filled with healthy fats and omegas, such as nuts and chia seeds, for added nourishment of the scalp and strands.

Ingredient note – When choosing a coconut yoghurt, find one with pre and probiotics for good gut health. We like to use Coyo Organic for this reason.​

Directions:
Mix Hair Food with coconut yoghurt until combined. Sprinkle with your choice of toppings.

Tip – For kids or a decadent dessert, cacao nibs are the perfect topping for a choc-berry yoghurt sensation.

 

​​POMEGRANATE FRAPPÉ

Ingredients:
1 cup Ice
½ cup Pomegranate juice

Ingredient note -Pomegranate is packed with antioxidants which help protect again free radical damage.1 serve Apotecari Hair Food

Directions:
Blend  all ingredients together in a blender

SOFIA’S MORNING SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:
1 Banana
1 tbs Peanut butter
1 serve Apotecari Hair Food
1 cup Plant-based milk

Ingredient note – Added protein from the peanut butter is great for hair growth and condition, as well as being a source of healthy fat which helps to nourish our strands and scalp. Banana is a good source of carbs for energy in the morning or throughout your day.

Directions:
Blend all ingredients together in a blender. Add ice if desired for a thicker smoothie.
