For radiant skin and hair and a morning glow, these hassle-free oats deliver slow-release energy and nutrition to keep you nourished and focused through the day. Prep them the night before for a flavour-filled breakfast that’s ready-to-go. 

In addition to delivering the comfort factor, fluid filled foods like oatmeal are a great way to incorporate hydration into your daily diet.  In these cooler months, we tend to see an increase in dehydration in our skin and hair as the humidity in our atmosphere drops.  Try to increase your intake of foods like orange, rockmelon, celery, strawberries and yoghurt to help combat dehydration and limit your intake of fried and processed foods – they tend to syphon moisture from your body.

Feel free to experiment here. You can swap out the maple syrup for other sweeteners of choice or garnish with nuts and seeds or your favourite fruit medley.

You will need:
  • 2 tsp of Hair Food 
  • 2 cups of rolled oats 
  • 1 ½ cups almond milk 
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup 
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence 
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter 

Combine your ingredients in a jar.  Once combined well, fasten lid and place in the fridge overnight to set. 

In the morning, serve and enjoy with your favourite toppings.
