Scones with Jam & Hair Food Cream
(Recipe from Australian Women’s Weekly)

What you’ll need:

  • 2 cups Self-raising Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 15g Butter
  • 250ml (1 cup) Milk/Mylk, approximately
  • 250ml Thickened Dollop Cream
  • 3 servings Hair Food

Method
– Grease a 20cm round cake pan
– Sift flour and sugar into a bowl
– Rub in butter, stir in enough milk to create a soft, sticky dough
– Turn dough onto a floured surface, knead lightly until smooth
– Press dough out to about 2½cm thickness, cut into 5cm rounds
– Place scones into the prepared pan, brush with a little extra milk
– Bake at 240°C for about 15 minutes

To make the cream:
– Mix 3 servings of Hair Food into the thickened cream until combined
– Serve with scones for topping

Hair Food Latte
What your you’ll need: 
  • 1 serving of Hair Food
  • 200ml Almond Milk (or milk/mylk of choice)
  • 40ml Water
Method: 
– Add 1 serving of Hair Food into a mug
– Stir in 40ml tepid water to make a paste and remove any lumps
– Heat and foam milk using electric milk frother (or alternative heating/frothing method of choice)
– Pour hot milk into the mug over the Hair Food mixture, stirring continuously

 

 

Chocolate covered Hair Food Strawberries
What you’ll need:
  • 1 packet (250g) of White Chocolate
  • 2-3 servings of Hair Food
  • 1 punnet of Strawberries
Method:
– Mix over boiling water
– Add hair food in slowly, whilst continuing to stir
– Cover strawberries and place on lined tray
– Put in fridge until set
