How it all began
Simone Abaron is an internationally-renowned formulation naturopath, nutritionist, herbalist & trichologist. Over her 15+ year career, she has developed iconic supplements for some of the world’s best brands, which continue to transform the health of their customers.
In 2013 Simone experienced a life-changing hair catastrophe at the hands of a hair stylist; two interacting treatments melted and snapped her former waist-length strands, leaving her with extreme hair damage and a less-than-fashionable pixie cut.
Determined to restore the health & length to her hair, she applied her intimate knowledge of nutritional science, botanical medicine, biochemistry and trichology to formulating something that would fuel the process from within.
Simone created Apotecari after feeling frustrated that there were no supplements on the Australian market formulated specifically to rebuild and grow hair from the inside out. Today, Apotecari has helped thousands of men and women fall in love with their hair.

The Apotecari packaging range includes signature biophotonic glass bottles, also known as ‘violet glass’, which plays the role of ‘preservative’, eliminating the use of these nasties in our formulations. Also included is award-winning, home-compostable refill ‘replenish’ pouches, designed to refill the glass bottles and reduce environmental impact.
