Meet your new cupboard staple. This naturally sweetened, superfood infused, strawberry chia jam is perfect for an afternoon snack mixed with plant-based yoghurt or on a slice of toast for an uncomplicated breakfast on a busy morning.

Strawberry Chia Jam

You will need:

  • 400g diced strawberries
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 serving Hair Food

Place strawberries into saucepan with water.

Bring to the boil, then turn down the heat medium and let it simmer for 15 minutes.

Mash the strawberries with a fork, then continue to cook on low-medium for another 30 minutes or until reduced by half. Stir regularly.

Towards the end of cooking, stir constantly.

Then, when almost ready, stir in Hair Food and once combined remove from heat.

Place into jar and refrigerate.
